Danita Rogers Photography, Kentucky wedding, bridal, portraiture, fine art and equine photography.
I was part of an amazing Seniors Workshop put on by Master Photographer Ken Kneringer in Dayton, Ohio this past weekend. We spent the first part of the day at Cox Arboretum photographing 3 high school senior models, two beautiful girls and a great guy. They rocked it as we learned posing and specific lighting techniques! We then moved to Bullwinkles in Dayton for a wonderful dinner and an evening full of Photoshop retouching techniques. What a great day! Spent with the very best of the best in the Southwestern Ohio (and Kentucky) area! Here’s a quick gallery with some of the images I captured from the day!
It’s May 27th and officially summer! Summer in Kentucky means flowers for me and I love taking time out to photograph them.
Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying today as much as I am. I love Kentucky! I wanted to share a few images I worked on this week (May 22, 2010) while I have been working on studio sample albums and images for canvases, prints, acrylics, metals, etc… Here are a few of those. Enjoy!

This is a test blog entry using the WP app for iPhone. I love this application where I can add a quick blog update with photos right from my iPhone. Very cool!

I attended college at Eastern Kentucky University soon after getting married in 1993 for a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with an emphasis not only in Fine Art Photography but also in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. While attending college ceramics and painting classes were my therapy since I didn’t have as much time for horseback riding. I continue to attend workshops and classes in photography, photoshop and other classes all over the United States as well as teach classes myself.
The doors have been open to Danita Rogers Photography for over 10 years now and I look forward to the next 10 years!
I have any eye that is notably different than many photographers in my area. I was born an artist and creating images that are truly Fine Art is what photography is all about for me. Starting with the creative vision I have in my mind then making that happen with the initial image taken in-camera and if I feel the need moving on to digital artistry to further express my vision this way.
I see myself moving more and more into videography. I’m very, very excited about this, it will not be a total switch over to video, just an addition to my still photography.
I love creating art out of what I see and doing just that at your wedding is an honor I do not take lightly.
